On Friday, the 9th of February 2024, we play our first concert this year at THEATER RAMPE. It will be a smaller venue and therefore a closer and more familiar atmosphere there. Besides we see it as the kick off concert with our new name KARA ORMAN after two years being KANADA. DJ Çember Cem will do a little warm up before with his beloved sounds of the Anatolian 1960s and 1970s, and after our show STUR & DUMM will play some ORIENTRONICA accompanied by some live instruments and singers! So don’t miss it and let’s start together into a great live concert year 2024!

Our project has grown and the time has come to give it a new name! Because the inspiring jam session at the beginning took place in the deep black forrests of Germany we are changing our name to ‘KARA ORMAN’ which means ‘black forrest’ in Turkish – so let’s look forward!

The gig at Folklore Festival Krefeld on 4th of August 2023 was so nice! We made new friends and enjoyed to play here. Despite rainy weather many listeners even came with their umbrellas and were very interested in what we play. So thank you all and we would be happy to meet again!
